Bowflex elite - for ultimate Bowflex performance

 If you are looking at setting up you own home gym, you have to check out the Bowflex Elite.  Although you won't find much about the Bowflex Elite on the Bowflex website, you can find them at a number of fitness equipment stores.  The best part is that you can actually try it out before you buy it.

The Bowflex Elite works the same as the Bowflex, working with pounds of resistance versus a free weight model.  The Elite model offers 310lbs of resistance but can be upgraded to over 400lbs is required.  On the other hand, free weights offer complete range of motion as well as a variety of exercises. 

The Bowflex Elite is as simple to use as other Bowflex machines.  Changeover of resistance rods is quick.  The Elite has been criticized for not being as smooth as other machines.  Folding of the bench is not easily done so it is recommended to leave it out if you have the space.  Because of the cost of Bowflex equipment, we recommend that you try it out before you buy it.
