Nordic Track elliptical -  a great mid range cross trainer

 You may be familiar with the Nordic Track ski machine that was the rage about 25 years ago.  Well Nordic Track elliptical machines are making their own mark on the fitness industry.  The Nordic Track elliptical family of trainers does not rank up there with Precor machines, but if you are looking for a mid range cross trainer, these may be for you.

Nordic Track elliptical trainers range in price from just under $800 to just under $3,000 for their top model.  As with the ski machine, the elliptical trainers are known for their smooth, gliding action and ergonomic fit.  When you have a machine that performs, you are more apt to use it often and for longer periods of time.

One of the common problems with the Nordic Track elliptical trainer is the quality of the product.  Many customers are frustrated with difficult assembly due to poorly aligned holes making the machine noisy.  Since all machines come out of Asia, finding a good customer service person is challenging.  So, be sure to do your homework and test out the machine you want to buy before ordering it.
